Our 2023 flying season is fully booked.

 

We offer scenic balloon rides in your own private balloon. You and your guest will enjoy approximately a one hour flight that departs from a launch location in the Southern Willamette Valley. This option is popular for engagements, anniversaries, or couples wishing to enjoy a peaceful flight without the distraction of other passengers.

Be sure to bring your camera and a light jacket. It can be cool when you arrive, and quite warm by the end of the flight. Dressing in layers is ideal. You’ll arrive just before the sun rises and have an opportunity to help set up and inflate your balloon. We welcome passenger participation during the inflation phase, and many passengers enjoy having a part in bringing the balloon to life.

You will take to the air and fly approximately one hour above the beautiful Willamette Valley before landing. Our chase crew will be there to welcome you back, help pack up the balloon, and transport you back to the launch location.

Departure times depend on the date, as we always launch just after the sun rises. You will arrive approximately 20 minutes before sunrise. You entire adventure (setup, launch, flight, and balloon pack up) will take about 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Cost: $775 (Fully refundable up to 2 weeks prior to your flight, after that a $500 cancellation fee applies. Fully refundable for any cancellation due to weather.) Flights are only scheduled with payment being made via credit card at time of booking.

Passenger total weight must be less than 500 lbs.

A note about tips: Willamette Valley Balloons does not expect or solicit tips. We charge the market rate for our services and our pilots are compensated adequately for their services. However, our crew members are mostly volunteers. If you feel that your crew members added to your experience in a positive way, please feel free to tip them as you see fit. We have no suggested amount. Anything is appreciated, but nothing is expected.

The ballooning season runs June through October. Cancellations due to weather are common during the early and late parts of the season. Please understand this when choosing a date. Any cancellation due to weather is entitled to a full refund or re-book on a different date, at the choice of the customer.

 

Days available for the 2024 flying season will be posted throughout the summer, approximately 4 weeks prior to the flying date. Check back often to see current availability.
